What This Tool Does
The Mastodon Text Formatter gives you two outputs for a toot: Unicode styled letters that paste anywhere, or Markdown syntax such as **bold**, _italic_ and `code` for servers that render it.
As far as we know, standard Mastodon shows Markdown as plain text, while some servers and other Fediverse apps render it. If you are not sure what your server does, use Unicode mode or post a test toot.
