What This Tool Does
The Google Text Formatter creates styled text for use in Google Business profiles, Google Docs shared snippets, and other Google surfaces. It uses Unicode characters to add visual formatting where Google does not support native styling.
While Google's own products like Docs and Sheets support rich formatting, many Google-facing text fields — such as business descriptions and review responses — do not. This tool helps you add visual emphasis in those contexts.
How to Use This Tool
- Type or paste your text into the input field.
- Select a formatting style from the toolbar.
- Preview the formatted output in the right panel.
- Click 'Copy' to copy the styled text.
- Paste it into your Google Business profile, review response, or other text field.
Why Text Formatting Matters
Google Business profiles and other public-facing Google text fields do not support native formatting, but styled text can improve readability.
- Bold text in business descriptions can highlight key services and features.
- Structured text makes business descriptions more scannable for potential customers.
- Formatted review responses look more professional and attentive.
- Unicode styling works without any special tools or Google integrations.
- Use formatting selectively — Google may not index Unicode characters the same as plain text.
